What if God's goal for our lives is not to make us happy, but to make us holy?

  1. Amen! and I'm glad you aprove of the letter to girls from guys on my blog. Indeed it's all true and yet scarey, no?

You know you're living in 2005 when..

    1) you accidentally enter your password on a microwave

    2) you haven't played solitaire with real cards in years

    3) thE reaL reason for not staying in touch with friends is that they don't have a screen name

    4) you'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing to button on the tv.

    6) your boss dont even have the ability to do your job.

    7) you read this list, & keep nodding and smiling

    8) as you read this list, you think about sending it to all your

    9) and.. you were to busy to notice number 5.

    10) you actually scrolled back up to check that there was no 5

    11) & now you're laughing at your stupidity

repost this if u think this is true

  2. wow...austin. did that have anything to do with the questions? As for the "question"...I think God's goal for our lives is to make us Holy...but he also wants to make us happy. Since happness is a state of mind he can do both! Or at least I hope He can!

  3. What if God knows that in being holy we would find true happiness?

  4. Me thinks John Piper would disagree to a point.

  5. i think they go hand in hand...but it only works one way of course...holiness can infer happiness, but not the other way around. (was infer the right word there it sounded good...? :P) ANYwho...yeah...and that list is i'm so gullable i did everything that thing said you would. haha guess im only human...or just brain takes it all outta ya =D got the top grade in 2 of my classes tho! hehe WOOT it all pays off in the end....well g2g - bi!

    ~God bless~
